4th Annual Benefit run by Access 2 Tanzania
For the last three years, the Access 2 Tanzania guides and staff have come together in a very special way! They are joining forces to support the work of Project Zawadi by leading a benefit run during the Kilimanjaro Marathon weekend. This event is charged with positive energy and camaraderie. Together the guides, staff, and donors have raised over $100,000 since 2022. That is simply incredible.
The guides have set a goal of reaching $50,000 this year to help support PZ's School Meals Program. We have come close in the past, but this year, with your help, we'll reach the summit (pun intended)!
What the guides and staff are saying...
"We are proud to volunteer in the village to support students as they learn English, practice a trade, plant trees, and learn how to grow more food in the agriculture clubs. We have seen first-hand the impact being made by Project Zawadi's work and we know from personal experience how important it is to have food at school. It allows students to stay focused on their work and miss less class time; like when they go home to eat in the middle of the day." - Elibariki
