COLLABORATION IS KEY

What does it mean to collaborate? For Project Zawadi, collaboration means aspiring to be good ‘thought partners.’ We: 1) listen attentively, 2) ask good questions, 3) offer ideas with humility, and 4) plan and implement projects together.

In collaboration, we learn from and work with communities to design and deliver initiatives that ensure children and youth have access to a quality education.

Project Zawadi needs to raise at least $220,000 by December 31,2023 to support this year’s priorities including:

• Improve counseling and career support to hundreds of sponsored students;
• Provide tuition support to a dramatically increased number of students moving on to university;
• Support community leaders to improve systems for handling cases of child abuse;
• At the central government’s request, create dozens of new Tenda Teachers training videos to be used by teachers across the country.
• Expand the Apprenticeship, Leadership Development, and Model Farms programs
