Your support puts Tanzanian students and youth on the path to self-reliance!

As you may know, Access 2 Tanzania (A2T) started as a result of our work with Project Zawadi (PZ). The entire A2T team is inspired to work incredibly hard not only to service our guests to the highest level, but also to reinvest into the community through PZ.

Over the past 18 years, PZ has worked to remove barriers to education for hundreds of students in rural Tanzania, specifically the isolated Mara Region to the west of the Serengeti. This region holds a special place for A2T, as this is where owner Brian Singer served as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching secondary school math.

In 2017, PZ completed a comprehensive Strategic Plan for the future. Our mission calls us to partner with communities, schools, and teachers to support quality education for Tanzanian children and youth. We aim to significantly improve educational quality, safety, and access for students in our program regions through three programs initiatives:

From the beginning, individuals just like you have helped us reach our early goals. Returned A2T guests have become an integral part of our giving community. With your help, we can achieve our new goals. Please lend your support in honor of Project Zawadi's annual giving day: Universal Children's Day on Tuesday, November 20.

During the giving period of November 1-20 all Sponsorship and/or General Fund gifts received or pledged will be matched by a group of generous donors, including Access 2 Tanzania and past A2T guests, by 35%. That means a new sponsorship donation of $200 actually becomes a $270 gift. A general fund donation of $1,000 becomes a $1,350 gift. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Karen Stupic and Casey O'Connell
